Lucky's Cafe

Surprised this is categorized as "fast food" on here. It's a nice and cozy diner for breakfast and lunch, with friendly employees. what makes them stand out is their fantastic fresh muffins -- I always miss the lemon coconut sour cream muffin when they make them.

Lucky's is a hole in the wall (& hole in the ground) breakfast and lunch diner. It's got all the great American staples you'd expect plus a great list of specials that change regularly. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is always welcoming.

Food was garage. Place was clean but the food was garage! The eggs was saucy, the toast was stale! I will not return! If I could give it less stars I would.

French toast is really good especially the marble rye.

We visited our son at WPI and looked up best places to eat brunch. It’s a quaint and cozy place tucked into an old brick building— lots of character and the food was delicious. Portions sizes were perfect and we would definitely visit again. I had a veggie breakfast omelet with home fries and he had a hot pastrami sandwich! There is something for everyone!

Good little cafe for brunch. Tables big enough to accommodate groups. Accept credit cards. Omlets are good and come with home fries and toast. Coffee is okay and bottomless. Would definitely recommend getting one of their muffins grilled.

Great food. They are not shy on using good seasonings! The tea was not what I was use to and I was not satisfied with that; however the food was great. I had the Italian tuna on a roll and chick noodle.

I love this place for breakfast whenever we are in Worcester. Great food, a lot of it, and at a very reasonable price. The staff is always friendly. It's just a cool little basement place. Very close to WPIFood is always super fresh.. I HIGHLY recommend the Spicy Thai Peanut Chicken soup..it is fantastic!!! Can be a lil tricky to find in the building for someone who's not familiar with it..

Hole in the wall that has become a favorite. They are a great place for breakfast and always very attentive! Prices are extremely fair and the food is great!

Plain and simple this is the best place to eat. Foods inexpensive and great! The hospitality is amazing, the owner takes great pride in his cafe. Everything is homemade and you can tell by the quality. I come here all the time because I know I’ll never leave disappointed. Must try for anyone in the Worcester area!

This little Basement Cafe is a hidden treasure of Worcester. Amazing food and the staff-Patti, Lauren are fabulous!

Lucky's is a great lunch place. It's has a nice small cafe atmosphere. They do mostly soups/salads/sandwiches, so nothing that out-there, but the food's consistently good. The people who run it are friendly.

Came here for breakfast with my brother this past weekend on Saturday and Sunday while staying nearby. Both days the food was great. I had a special omelet the first day and a french toast special with strawberries and Nutella sauce the second day. Everything was really good, the home fries were house made and tasted great.

Would never have found it if we hadn't been brought by friends. Very good breakfast place, was always full but never a wait on a Sunday late morning. Slight wait in between service with such a small staff but they were all very nice and attentive. Try the Jeremy Special 👌

It's a restaurant, not fast food. The place is great and the proprietor, Peter, is a nice guy. Great food and reasonably priced. Cozy and intimate. Perfect for a date or for a business luncheon.

Terrible service waited over 40 minutes and counting for pancakes and homefries on top of that the waitress had a horrible attitude. As I type this my food still hasn't arrived yet

We arrived at this place for a meeting. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff members were extremely nice and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. we highly recommend this place.

Quaint place lower level of brick building. Bring quarters for metered parking. Fruit and vegetable paintings for sale displayed on wall. Friendly staff. Coffee is not very good. Weak flavor tastes watered down. Eggs and home fries fresh tasting. Veggies used in omelette real deal. Omelette could have used more cheese. Sausage below par. French toast w fresh strawberries excellent. Wood chairs and tables. Wide board floors. Charming cups and plates. Music alters between world tunes and forties style. Doesn't seem to match the vibe.

Away from home on business and this got rid of my home sickness, I'll be back before I have to go...to good not to.

Service was eh. Placed order atriums 10am didn’t get to me till almost 1130. I wouldn’t be upset if the food tasted like it took that long to cook but all I got was French toast and an egg

Best place in town for lunch. Great food, awesome staff and good prices. The roast Turkey and bacon sandwich is top notch! A must try if you're in the Grove street area!

Pleasantly surprised. As we walked down the corridor of an old warehouse, we were beginning to wonder if we were headed in to the right place. It's is very cute/charming. Beautiful art is displayed. The women working that morning were cheerful. The food is creative, and a nice break from the standard breakfast menus.

What a find! Lucky's is CHARMING and AUTHENTIC. I had breakfast there this morning and will definitely come back for lunch, and brunch and another breakfast. The food was great, I have to agree with other reviewers on their scrumptious home made muffins. I had their strawberry sour cream muffin this morning. The lovely unassuming, sweet decor is a very big contributor to the charm of the place.

Great food - great service - parking out back. (Don't park across street - you'll be charged and Lucky's can't validate). Pastrami sandwich very good. Turkey barley soup made fresh and quite tasty. Turkey pocket with fresh, fresh turkey. Friendly atmosphere, nice art on walls. Located downstairs in the mill. If you don't mind eating below ground (the restaurant is in the basement) this can be a decent place for a bowl of soup or half sandwich. You don't go here for the atmosphere but the food is fresh, well priced, and the staff knows how to get you in and out on your lunch hour.

Horrible experience. Food took 45 minutes, had to ask twice for check and had dirt in my water. Waitress was pressuring me into buying a full stack of french toast when I only wanted one and ended up not getting any because of that and was rushing putting food and drinks down and got the maple syrup handle in my coffee. Pancakes were undercooked and homefries were tasteless and cold.

In kind of an odd spot downstairs, this place has a calm and cute vibe with soft lighting. Had a yummy homemade corn/strawberry muffin that was sliced and grilled. Also had a coffee, pancakes and homefries. No complaints.

Incredibly friendly and personable, cannot compliment the owner enough for his kind and considerate manner. Cozy atmosphere with beautiful paintings for sale. I had the What-A-Burger which was delicious, reasonably priced, and was served quickly.I have never written a review before, but this restaurant deserves a good rating.
